Dr. Charlotte Boettiger, an Associate Professor of Behavioral Neuroscience, receives a 3-year appointment, effective October 2015, to the Society for Neuroscience’s Government and Public Affairs Committee.
The Government and Public Affairs Committee guides and evaluates SfN advocacy activities and strategies that promote neuroscience research. Initiatives include educating policymakers about advances in research, their implications for public policy, their societal benefit, and continued scientific progress.
