Van Liceralde, a graduate student in Cognitive Psychology, is the recipient of a 2017 Psychonomic Society J. Frank Yates Student Travel Award.

Each year, the Psychonomic Society awards five J. Frank Yates Student Travel Awards tograduate student members of the Society who are in underrepresented populations, including those who are disadvantaged or discriminated against in some way, and in diversifying our perspectives. Each Awardee receives a travel stipend of $1,000 to attend the Psychonomic Society’s Annual Meeting. This year’s conference is in Vancouver, British Columbia, November 9 – 12, 2017.

Van won for his abstract entitled, “Consequence of Power Transformations on Trial-Level Analyses of Chronometric Data.”
