Dr. Sara Algoe received a Gratitude Research Grant from the Greater Good Science Center at the University of California Berkeley.
The Greater Good Science Center, in collaboration with the University of California Davis and with support from the John Templeton Foundation, awarded $3 million in grants in 2012 to expand the scientific understanding of gratitude. Grants were awarded based on scientific significance, approach and methods, creativity, potential influence, and capacity for success.
Dr. Algoe received a research award for her project, “Unpacking the Mechanisms of Gratitude’s Benefits within Close Relationships.”
