Casey Calhoun, a graduate student in Clinical Psychology, is the recipient of the 2014 American Psychological Association’s Division 12 Distinguished Student Service Award in Clinical Psychology.

This award honors a graduate student who has made outstanding service contributions to the profession and community. Service contributions include development of creative educational programs, contributions to diversity, increased funding for agencies, volunteering, advancement of legislation regarding mental health, and/or general mental health advocacy, such as initiating outreach to underserved communities or substantive involvement in efforts of outreach.
