Dr. Charlotte Boettiger, an Assistant Professor of Behavioral Neuroscience, was featured in a May 7, 2014 article of Scientific American titled “Estrogen’s Role in Impulsive Behavior.”

The article references Dr. Boettiger’s recent study published in the Journal of Neuroscience revealing that greater increases in estrogen levels across the menstrual cycle led to less impulsive decision making.
