Dr. Erica Wise, Director of Psychological Services, is the 2014 recipient of the American Psychological Association Presidential Citation.
Dr. Wise was awarded a Presidential Citation for her lifelong devotion to psychology training and education and her stellar contributions related to professional ethics. An inspirational supervisor and teacher, committed social justice advocate and keen thinker, Dr. Wise is an exemplary role model as a psychology clinic director who has contributed to the evolution of standards, policies and practices that shape predoctoral practicum training. A past president of the Association of Psychology Training Clinics, she has participated actively in determining competencies and delineating the role of practicum training in establishing competence.
