Shawn Jones, a graduate student in Clinical Psychology, is the recipient of the 2013 Association of Black Psychologists’ SAGE Student Research Award.

This award recognizes and encourages outstanding scholarship related to persons of African descent.

Shawn received this award for his research, “Emotional Response Profiles to Racial Discrimination: Does Racial Identity Predict Affective Patterns?” He was honored at the ABPsi’s annual convention in New Orleans, Louisiana.
