Dr. Kate Reissner, an Assistant Professor of Behavioral Neuroscience, is the recipient of a 2016 National Institute on Drug Abuse summer supplement.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse funds research that advances the science on the causes and consequences of drug use and addiction. Dr. Reissner received a total award of over $14,000 for her project, “Contributions of Glial Glutamate Transport and Transmission to Drug Abuse.”
