Dr. Carol Cheatham, an Associate Professor of Developmental Psychology, has been named to the American Health Council Education Board.

The Council is a multidisciplinary organization of health-care providers and researchers committed to improving Americans’ physical and mental health. With a nationwide constituency comprising medical leaders and innovators, the American Health Council is capable of providing deliberate health care interventions. By facilitating the exchange of information through advanced networking, the American Health Council is dedicated to improving the overall well-being of the population, as well as alleviating the global burden of disease through shared knowledge and real-time collaboration. Dr. Cheatham will share her knowledge expertise on the effects of nutrition on brain development with the Council.
