Laura Machlin, a graduate student in Clinical Psychology, is the recipient of a 2018 Center for Developmental Science (CDS) Carolina Consortium on Human Development (CCHD) Predoctoral Fellowship.
The CCHD Predoctoral Program is a fully-funded two-year training program that are designed to facilitate continued diversity of candidates, mentors, institutions, and disciplines. These positions also allow program flexibility to support the ethnic, disciplinary and institutional diversity of the training classes, and to permit trainees to work with junior mentors as members of their training teams. A key mission of the CDS is to provide cutting-edge training opportunities in Developmental Science that span the career trajectory. The CCHD receives support through a T32 training grant from the National Institute on Child Health and Human Development to support a predoctoral and postdoctoral training program.
