Kathy Do, a graduate student in Developmental Psychology, is the recipient of the 2018-19 Ernest C. Davenport Award for Outstanding Psychological Research by a Student Who Enhances Diversity.

The purpose of the Ernest C. Davenport Award for Outstanding Psychological Research by a Student Who Enhances Diversity is to encourage and honor students from under-represented groups who make a contribution to the advancement of knowledge of psychological science.

Kathy Do, a fifth-year graduate student, received this award for her research on understanding positive and negative social influences on both prosocial and antisocial behaviors, and their neurodevelopmental processes across adolescence. Kathy is a fourth-year graduate student in Dr. Eva Telzer’s Developmental Social Neuroscience Lab. She has been involved in numerous activities within the department to support and promote diversity related initiatives.
