Dr. Peter Ornstein, Professor Emeritus of Developmental Psychology, is the recipient of a 2019-20 American Psychological Association (APA) Division 7 Mentor Award in Developmental Psychology.
Division 7 Developmental Psychology of the APA presents 9 awards and 2 grants annually. The Mentor Award in Developmental Psychology recognizes individuals who have had a substantial impact on developmental psychology by their mentoring of young scholars. This award honors individuals who have contributed to developmental psychology through the education and training of the next generation of research leaders in the field.
