Dr. David Thissen, Professor of Quantitative Psychology, is the 2020 recipient of the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD) Exception Service to the Association Award.
The AAIDD Service to the Association Award is awarded for significant leadership contributions to a Chapter, Region, or Interest Network and presented to an individual who has served in an AAIDD leadership role within the last two years.
This award is presented at the direction of the AAIDD Board of Directors, very infrequently, and it is intended to honor and acknowledge the extraordinary contributions of the recipients to the AAIDD. Congratulations, Dr. Thissen!
