Dr. Kristen Lindquist, Associate Professor of Social Psychology, is the recipient of a 2020 National Science Foundation Grant.
The National Science Foundation is an independent federal agency created by Congress in 1950 “to promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; to secure the national defense.” The National Science Foundation funds research and education in most fields of science and engineering.
Dr. Lindquist received a total award of over $468,000 (over three years) for her project, “The Physiological Hypothesis of Affective Aging.”
