Dr. Regina Carelli, Stephen B. Baxter Distinguished Professor of Behavioral & Integrative Neuroscience, is the recipient of a 2020 National Institute on Drug Abuse R01 grant.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse funds research that advances the science on the causes and consequences of drug use and addiction. Dr. Carelli received a total award of over $1.7 million (over five years) for her project, “Corticolimbic Circuits in Negative Affect.”
