Dr. Keith Payne, Professor of Social Psychology, and Dr. Patrick Curran, Professor of Quantitative Psychology, are the recipients of a 2021 National Science Foundation Grant.

The National Science Foundation is an independent federal agency created by Congress in 1950 “to promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; to secure the national defense.” The National Science Foundation funds research and education in most fields of science and engineering.

Dr. Payne and Dr. Curran received a total award of over $465,000 (over three years) for their project, “Implicit Bias: Separation Person and Context.”
