Distinguished Alumnus Lecture & Award Presentation

We are pleased to announce that the recipient of this year’s Distinguished Alumnus Award is Dr. Ronald Haskins, who earned his Ph.D. in the Developmental Psychology Program.
A former senior White House and congressional advisor on welfare issues, Ron Haskins co-directs the Brookings Center on Children and Families and Budgeting for National Priorities Project. An expert on preschool, foster care, and poverty—he was instrumental in the 1996 overhaul of national welfare policy. He is also a contributor to the Evidence Speaks paper project.
