Dr. Kathleen Gates, an Assistant Professor of Quantitative Psychology, is the recipient of a 2013 R21 grant by the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering.
The NIBIB’s mission is to improve health by leading the development and accelerating the application of biomedical technologies. The Exploratory/Developmental Grant (R21) is intended to support innovative, high impact research projects that either generate pilot data to assess the feasibility of a novel avenue of investigate, involve high-risk experiments that could lead to a breakthrough in the field, or demonstrate the feasibility of new technologies that could have a major impact.
Dr. Gates won for her project, “Data-Driven Approach to Identifying Subgroups Using fMRI Connectivity Maps.”
