Dr. Marsha Penner, a Teaching Assistant Professor, was elected Chair of the UNC Educational Policy Committee.
The Educational Policy Committee is composed of nine members elected by the faculty for three-year terms, one appointed undergraduate student, and one appointed graduate or professional student. The committee is concerned with matters of educational policy and its implementation and is advisory to the Faculty Council.
Dr. Penner was elected by the faculty to the Educational Policy Committee effective July 1, 2017 and the Educational Policy Committee elected her as Chair for a one-year term, effective July 1, 2018.
