Dr. Anna Bardone-Cone, a Professor of Clinical Psychology, was recently named a Bowman and Gordon Gray Distinguished Term Professor.

The Bowman and Gordon Gray Professorships support excellence in undergraduate teaching at UNC and were established in 1980. These professorships bestow special recognition on College of Arts and Sciences faculty members for their distinguished undergraduate teaching through a five year professorship, annual funds for research support, and a highly valued sabbatical.

Dr. Bardone-Cone received this distinguished term professorship for her excellence in research, teaching, and service, with a remarkable degree of national and international impact, and her deep commitment to undergraduate teaching, with an impact far beyond the traditional classroom. Her Bowman and Gordon Gray term professorship is effective July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2023.
