Dr. Erica Wise, Clinical Professor and Director of Psychological Services, was named an Initial Fellow by the Society of Clinical Psychology Division 12.
Achieving Initial Fellow status in the American Psychological Association (APA) has always been associated with the recognition that the individual has achieved great distinction in their field. For Division 12, criteria for Fellowship can have a broad range, including direct therapeutic services, consultation, administration, research and involvement in national, regional, state and local professional governance activities. Outstanding service to APA Boards or Committees, or to Division 12 Committees meet the criteria for fellowship, provided that such services can be shown to have had a positive impact on the field of clinical psychology as a profession or science.
