16 of our Psychology and Neuroscience undergraduates are Fall 2019 initiates of the Alpha of North Carolina Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.

Phi Beta Kappa is one of the oldest and most distinguished of all collegiate honorary societies. Membership is a recognition of academic excellence achieved during the completion of a liberal arts and sciences undergraduate education. Phi Beta Kappa objectives include intellectual honesty and tolerance, a broad range of intellectual interests, and a lifelong commitment to the pursuit of learning.

Congratulations to our Fall 2019 inductees: Rachael Mackenzie Albert, Danielle Hope Atchiler, Courtney Ann Barth, Benjamin Bloch Bolton, Margaret Emma Brown, Cathy Lu Chi, Carley Dorin Cook, Abigayle Fogarty, Lauren Michelle Gaeta, Kristen Elizabeth Hines, Grace Langley, Ava Marie Liccione, Julia Tian, Taylor Nicole Weckstein, Olivia Rae Weidner, and Eileen Jueming Yang.

They will be recognized at the Fall initiation ceremony on November 6, 2019 at 5:00 pm in the Moeser Auditorium, Hill Hall. A reception will follow the ceremony in the rotunda beginning about 6:15 pm.
