Join us for a three-hour workshop presented by the Care-to-Share Network as part of Carolina Engagement Week (co-sponsored by the Child and Family Research Network UNCG and the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute).

In this hybrid event, presenters integrate methods of community-engaged scholarship with the field of Developmental Science. More than the study of children, Developmental Science concerns how people grow and change across the lifespan, contexts that support development and creating interventions to promote resilience and thriving. In this workshop, participants will discuss the opportunities of this integration, hear lessons from scholars seasoned in this work, learn about new collaborations from the viewpoint of community partners and emerging scholars and try out tools helpful for both scholars and community partners in North Carolina to build successful relationships.

February 26th 1-4pm in Graham Memorial 039 (with light refreshments; hybrid option) – campus parking available at Morehead Planetarium
