Race to the Top: Ladder or Jungle Gym

The UNC Working on Women in Science (WOWS) program, in collaboration with the Departments of Biology and Psychology, would like you to save-the-date for a presentation by Dr. Ileana Arias, Principal Deputy Director for the Centers for Disease Control/Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry.
Consistent with the mission of the WOWS initiative, which aims to foster the recruitment and advancement of women in the sciences and medicine, Dr. Arias will share her personal and professional perspectives navigating the highest levels of academics, administration, and policy in her talk, “Race to the Top: Ladder or Jungle Gym,” which will take place Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 3:30 pm in Wilson Hall room 107.
