UNC Diversifying Psychology Weekend (DPW)

The UNC Diversifying Psychology Weekend (DPW) is an opportunity for talented ethnic/racial minority undergraduates and recent college graduates interested in pursuing doctoral level training in psychology and neuroscience. While we encourage all applicants, this program would be most beneficial for those who are planning to apply to graduate school in the near future. This year’s virtual program includes two days of seminars, panel discussions, and workshops. Students will learn how to develop a competitive application for graduate school, receive individual feedback, and meet with doctoral students and faculty from our department in formal and informal settings. This year’s DPW will provide students the opportunity to explore the six graduate programs in our Psychology & Neuroscience department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill: Clinical, Cognitive, Developmental, Quantitative, and Social Psychology, and Behavioral and Integrative Neuroscience.

The application deadline is August 21, 2023. You can access the application HERE. Plan ahead to gather letters of recommendation and transcripts (which will be accepted up to one week after the application deadline – until August 27, 2023).
