Major in Psychology or Neuroscience!


Our undergraduate program in Psychology is designed to provide students with a broad exposure to the behavioral sciences with a focus on the statistical and research tools used in contemporary psychological research. The subject matter is preparatory to a career in psychology either in basic research and teaching, or in any number of professional applications to various human problems. A psychology major may prove useful to those planning other professional careers such as medicine, law, education, business, social work, or counseling, as well as those who seek a broad cultural background in the behavioral sciences. Our undergraduate program in Neuroscience embodies the liberal arts experience as it draws upon techniques and findings from several academic disciplines, including biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, physics, and psychology. Our Neuroscience major provides students with the fundamental knowledge and exposure needed to pursue careers and post-graduate studies in fields related to psychology, human development and aging, health and disease, rehabilitation, biomedical research, human-machine interactions, and other emerging disciplines. Our students can earn a B.S. in Neuroscience.
